Despite her French name, Solène Fray is a British-born author who specialises in modern mysteries with a twist of British humour and a hint of the supernatural. Known for her witty, character-driven plots, Solène crafts tales featuring strong, independent women who outwit villains and - when necessary - the police, with the help of her partners in crime (sometimes literally).

In her debut novel, Budding Suspicions, Solène introduces readers to a world where cleverness and camaraderie reign supreme, and every twist and turn is laced with her distinctive humour.
